Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is Still Open!

This offering is used for the sole purpose of supporting

International Missions.  Elah's goal is $1,500!  Starting in 1888,

LMCO was established to empower the international mission

efforts for Southern Baptists.  Giving enables missionaries to be

sent to make disciples & multiply churches among unreached

peoples and places for the glory of God.

Operation Christmas Child Donations - Boys 2 - 4 years old

Instead of buying items at the last minute, we can donate

monthly to a child's Christmas shoebox!  A list will be posted on

the bulletin boards in the church showing items NOT TO

donate.  Remember, items must be small enough to fit into a

shoebox.  Items donated until February 28 should be for a

boy, 2- 4 years old.  See Eileen Graham, Rose Cook or

     Betty Lanier with questions.

The Book of Revelation - Every Sunday Evening at 6 pm

Join Pastor Ken as he teaches the book of Revelations.

Please bring friends, a notebook & an open, inquisitive mind.

Let's discover afresh what the risen Jesus has to say to us in

the 21st century!  Please click Revelation Outline for an

     outline of the study.

Make Cards for Novant - Tuesday, 2/14 @ 11 am

Meet in the Fellowship Hall to make cards to be delivered to

patients at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.  Each

card will have a stamp enclosed.  Other items (baby caps,

gowns, etc.) will also be delivered.  After finishing the cards,

we will deliver all items to the Center and have lunch there.

We are a place that welcomes all people and enables each one to find their path of faith. This journey is not meant to be made alone. For that reason, we hope that you will not only explore our website but, make your way to one of our services. In doing so, you will discover that the best part of Elah is it's people. Thank you for visiting our site and we hope to see you soon.

                                  In Christ alone,

                                  Pastor Ken Long

We are a community of faith that believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He lives. This Living Christ can meet us exactly where we are and change our whole perspective on life. We work to be a church without walls, a congregation engaged in our community for the cause of Jesus. Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Elah, we believe in sharing the joy of the Gospel daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.
